Hi !

I posted a couple of threads here to ask for identification, and I got nice and precise answers. This forum is a very valuable resource for me as a beginner dipterist (it's been approximately one year since my first ever observation). I'd love to give back to the community if there is anything I could help with. Is there something you would like other users to do I order to make the forum easier for everyone ? Is there something you would like to be different in how the forum is used by beginners like me who are looking for help with identification matters ?

I don't want to abuse your time and expertise, that's why I'm asking. Thank you again for the people who helped me with my flies,

Greetings,

Charly

Hi Charly.
1. Experts (1) enjoy identifying Diptera and (2) benefit greatly from the site in general and the photos published there in particular.
2. After the sudden and untimely death of the founder of diptera.info, Paul Beuk, John Carr and Chris Raper taken care of it. You can ask them how you can help. I think you can help with donations of any size, site support costs some money, and both experts and beginers sometimes send this money.
