Hi, At the moment one can see many of these small Psilids running over the leaves around our pond. They have a partly yellow thorax, so I think of Chamaepsila pectoralis. This species has two pairs of dorsocentrals. In the photos it is difficult to see, as the flies are so tiny. However, according to Shtakel'berg's key in http://books.goog...mp;f=false, all species with three pairs of dc have a completely black thorax. So I am optimistic to have found the right name for my little ones. Confirmation or correction is welcomed! Here is a wingless one - obviously an invalid. However, it behaved quite happily and escaped the camera by turning a somersault from the leaf.
