Tephritidae meetings
On behalf of the International Fruit Fly Steering Committee and the Working Group on Fruit Flies of the Western Hemisphere, you are cordially invited to participate in the next meeting:

7th International Symposium on Fruit Flies of the Economic Importance &

6th Meeting of Working Group on Fruit Flies of the Western Hemisphere

that will be held in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil in 10-15 September, 2006. The meeting is organized by the Medfly Program in Brazil and they will take place at the facilities of Hotel Pestana. The purpose of the Symposium and Meeting is to bring together academic, industry, research and action people from the all over the world to discuss the various aspects of fruit flies and recent developments related to Pest Management Strategies. The meetings will encourage cooperation between participants, contribute to spread the new findings, promote their practical use and highlight research needs.

More additions to the Gallery
Another thirteen images were added to the Gallery (Cecidomyiidae, Ceratopogonidae, Diastatidae, Dryomyzidae, Heleomyzidae, Limoniidae, Phoridae, Pipunculidae, Sciaridae, Sepsidae). All images from Nikita. Keep feeding me more.
Yet another addition to the Gallery
One new image was added to the Gallery (Culicidae). Just one, but this ballet was too nice to put on hold.
Additions to Diptera Gallery
Ten new images were added to the Gallery (Chloropidae, Hippoboscidae, Lauxaniidae, Stratiomyidae, Syrphidae, Tephritidae, Therevidae, Ulidiidae). More will be fed in gradually.
Some additions
A have added a few features to the site:
In the left column you can see the five most recent additions to the Diptera Gallery.
At the bottom of the opening page you can see the five most recent comments that were made about pages or images in the Diptera gallery.
You may help to keep Diptera.info in the air and even get it improved by a donation (See Donate panel in the right column).
You can keep track of any changes on the site through the link to Site changes, which keeps the date till last update.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
