Suffolk, UK. 7th May 2020. Freraea gagatea

A few of these came to a large water pan trap (swimming pool!) in warm windless weather. Plenty of Harpalus ground beetles too which are known hosts.
At first sight on water they look a little like Lasioglossum bees because the wing shading and whitish lower calypter gives them a waisted appearance I think.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
