 This small insect about 15mm in length was resting on some Broom in Extremadura ,Spain .It looks like a Robber fly , or could it be a Soldier fly . Any help with ID would be much appreciated .

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
