Hello, This Lauxaniid with shaded cross-veins was photographed on the Roussillon plain (South of France) on July 14th. Its measured length is 3.9 mm. Mike Hackston's key leads to the genus *Homoneura*: - Ocellar bristles originate from the ocellar triangle. - 0+3 dc and 0+1 ac + 4 rows of setulae. - Costal spinules reach vein R4+5. - Mid-tibia with a distinct posteroventral spur, in addition to the usual ventral spur —> *Homoneura*. The costal spinules do not reach vein M1+2. According to this topic (https://diptera.i...d_id=95349), *Homoneura interstincta* is the only European species fitting this description. What bothers me is that the key lists this species as measuring 2.3 to 2.8 mm. What do you think?
