I am clueless about this litle wasp.
In a Hungarian forum the guess was diapriidae.
Can anyone help defining the genus?
2018.03.30. South of Hungary. Body length circa 2 mm.
I know, this is a forum about diptera.
But I saw here some pro identification on another groups also.

For an expert reply, you would need to post this on the HymIS forum but it's almost impossible to get an activated account there now.

However, this one is quite distinctive and is, I think, a female Tetramopria aurocincta.

Thank you empeejay! I hardly believed that it was possible to determine species.
I've heard about the HymIS forum registration difficulties.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
