Hello, Still in Savoy (France), 2007/7/21, 1750 m above sea, size about 8-9 mm. I guess it could be a Cheilosia. Anyone able to go further? Thanks in advance. pierred attached the following image: [81.63Kb] Pierre Duhem |

Well, it seems to go into the so called antiqua group (bare eyes, legs black, no hairs on the sides of the face). Beyond that it is difficult from a picture, it could be Cheilosia antiqua or pubera, but that I can't see! greetings, Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
