Hello,

unfortunately only this photo. Ca. 8-10 mm, on Solidago canadensis in abandoned courtyard (northwest Germany). I thought of an Eupeodes, but I'm struggling a bit with some characters, for example the dark stripe on its forehead.

I'm now pretty sure, it was simply a Myathropa florea female (with underestimated size), since I took the picture below today at the same place... awkward
