Dear dipterists,
can this pair of diptera be identified or their family? I suppose it belongs to Chloropidae. But, the only book I have states, that Chloropidae are tiny and have a body length of c. 2 mm. This pair, however, was larger: 5-7 mm.

Observation data: Austria, province Salzburg, Salzburg greywacke alps, meadow near montaneous mixed forest, 1100 m, June 2, 2016.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Sabine Flechtmann

Dear John,
thank you very much for confirming the familiy of Chloropidae. If there are only a few species exceeding 5 mm, does anyone could perhaps identify the genus?

Best regards,
Sabine Flechtmann
