I think seminatione is correct by the rules of nomenclature. Genus names ending in -stoma are neuter according to ICZN article 30.1.2. The neuter form of the species name should be used if it is an adjective. |

Taxonomic comment at Fauna Europaea http://www.faunae...?id=405392: "seminationis is a noun in the genitive case (from 'seminatio') and does not change according to the gender of genus name (neutrum in Platystoma)."

That was my comment! I have studied the case very carefully and arrived at the conclusion that "is" is the correct ending for the reason it is not an adjective in nominative case, but a noun (?) in the genitive case Edited by Nosferatumyia on 14-09-2013 21:16 Val |
