According to thr shape of antena, this should be male, or am i wrong?

Episyrphus balteatus Smile

It looks like a male - not because of the antennae but because the eyes are touching at the top of the head.
Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
