 is it possible to detemine this syrphidae with white legs based on the picture

 It's a Xylota, possibly X. segnis, but we need to see more details, e.g. whether there is a row of spines on the lower side of the hind femora.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
