Switzerland, 09.06.2012, 430 msm, near Lake Zurich, Edge of wood and small wetland nearby

A male Dolichopus. The all-black legs with all-black postocular cilia are unusual in the genus.

Unfortunately, not unusual colour. Dolichopus picipes group of species.

In North America less than 10% of species have entirely black legs and postocular hairs.
