Hello,

Is this the larva of a syrphid? If yes, which genus?

Thanks in advance

It seems this is almost the same than in a former thread (http://www.dipter...ead_id=316). Elck spoke of a Dasysyrphus.

Dasysyrphus has many short, pointed 'lobes' laterally and these are not present here. Then I would rather say Eupeodes.

Hello,

In fact, I saw an imago on this Sambucus at that time.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
