Hello!

This fly (10-12 mm) jumped from one leave to another in our garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany) yesterday, as it wasn't able to fly. It does not seem to be freshly emerged to me (thorax shabby). So is it deformed or what is it? I normally would say it belongs to Muscidae or Tachinidae.

I'd go for Calliphoridae.

Thanks, I forgot that third possibility. Probably too obvious for me Wink.
Best regards,
Jürgen
