Hi! These tiny (1,8-2 mm) flies are numerous on leaves these days (northwest Germany). Are they Hybotidae, possibly Platypalpus sp.? In the genus Platypalpus there are two common yellow species (luteus and exilis (at least here in southern Finland), so either of those is probably the most likely alternative also there in your region. |
