Hello,

I have asked for this species once before, on August 06. 2006, but up to now got no confirmation. Now I have two more specimen, which I assume to be Icterica westermanni as well. Can anyone confirm this? Details of habitat: D-53572 Unkel, 20 km south of Bonn, river Rhine valley, dry and warm grassland with some wood and vineyards, August 21. 2006. Both specimen sat under the buds of, I am quite sure, Senecio jacobaea.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

I must have missed the from august 6th, but this certainly is Icterica westermanni, though it's nowadays in the genus Merzomya.
