Hello,

this is my first posting in this forum. Someone of the members of the ?Entomologieforum? in Germany has determined this species as Icterica westermanni, but he has recommended me to post it here to be sure he was correct. Details of habitat: D-53572 Unkel, 20 km south of Bonn, river Rhine valley, dry and warm grassland with some wood and vineyards, 04. 08. 2006.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Michael

Wow, what a beauty! I have never seen this species, but the identification seems correct to me, but let's wait on the opinion of John Smit, he's the specialist!
