hI Taken on 18th AUgust in Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL. This silk was smooth and light brown... perhaps made by a braconidae wasp (Apanteles sp.)? I found this one under stone... Look at this. It can be more easy to see that silk of Braconidae wasp... I think. The big one is a wasp nest made by Vespa sp. And yes, I took a risk when I almost touch it!!! And, worst... the tree was suspensed in the air!!!! To take this photo was a little dangerous task... besides Vespa sp and the tree suspended, the path was unsafe. ANyone confirm that it can be a silk made by braconidae wasps? Thank you! |
