Hi

from yesterday too (07.05.2010) on Corylus avellana
Switzerland, near forest and small wetland, 430 müM
size: about 10 mm

Is it possible to ID?

Hi Jürgen

If there are not a lot of similar one in Switzerland, I think it will be right ID. Just changed titel (hoping, that if ID is wrong, somebody will adjust). Never saw this hoverfly before, nice found for me.

Yes, it is a female Meligramma triangulifera!
