Digger or Ichneumon wasp?

Taken today South Coast Uk about 17mm bodylength- assumed it was an Ichneumon but just realised it's probably a digger wasp? Brian V. |

Ichneumonidae: the waist is ichneumonoid and the number of antennal segments exceeds that of digger wasps.
