Ibisia is right, antennal base are clearly separated, and antenna are above clypeus. This genus has a very curious kydney shape in its third segment in antenna. ![]() Also in this photo we can appreciate one of features for athericids, R1 and R2+3 ends in the same point when they reach the wing margin. Not so clear, because it is precisely in a dark region. ![]() |

this fly makes sense in the place I found it. It was precisely the site where I found Liponeura sp. (Blephariceridae) which testifies the high quality of the water around. I could drink it without any problems. Founding Ibisia + Liponeura is a very good indicator I would like to see them more times. |
