Any Ideas on this wasp?- first time I've seen one of them- about 15mm long taken today South Coast UK. thanks Brian V. |

Brian, I think it is a Nomada Sp. Bee. They look like wasps but are actually bees. There are alot of Nomada species and they are difficult to Id. They invade the nests of mining bees. Gordon Edited by Gordon Jar on 09-04-2006 22:19 |
