Anyone confirm an ID on this little fly -body 3.1mm long taken South Coast UK Yesterday (15/03/06) basically black all over.

Gall Midge = Cecidomyiidae?
If so, I'd rather say Sciaridae, than Cecidomyiidae.

You are right Nikita, it is a dark-winged fungus gnat, Sciaridae.
