Hello, This specimen was taken in the plain of Pyrénées-Orientales (South of France). Following Igor Grichanov's key of North European species, I've identified it as Dolichopus discimanus: Yellow femora, pale lower postocular cilia, basitarsus 2 without a dorsal seta, tibia 3 yellow, femora 2 and 3 with only one preapical seta, tibia 2 with at least two strong dorsal setae, lower calyptra with black cilia, arista inserted at the apical quarter of the postpedicel, coxa 1 black at the base. This Scandinavian species is, of course, very unlikely in the south of France. Is it possible to identify this specimen, please?
