Hi, Tachinidae observed on june 29th near the town of Sens (Burgondy, France). From the bristles of the scutum the Eriothrix genus seems possible. E. argyreatus should be a good option from abdominal yellow of the lateral part and the color or the legs. Thanks for your reply about the good identification of this fly. ![]() Jean-Michel GAREL : Belgique : Brannay : 89150 : 29/06/2025 Altitude : NR - Taille : 5-6 estimé Réf. : 361046 ![]() Jean-Michel GAREL : France : Brannay : 89150 : 29/06/2025 Altitude : NR - Taille : 5-6 estimé Réf. : 361047 |

I dont think so, vertex is too broad. Check for Bithia spreta. Theo |

Thanks Theo for your suggestion. However, it seems to me that all legs of Bithia spreta are black. Here, the femurs are yellow ! |

The same can be said of Eriothrix. So dit is a Solieria, either pacifica or vacua. Show the tarsus and we can say more |
