Hello, Here is some diptera I found on 24th June near Dijon (21), France. (Length is approx 12 to 15 mm) What is not evident on the photo is the yellow and black colors of the abdomen, that give some "hymenoptera-looking" aspect (don't know the english word, sorry ! ). First thought about some Asilidae, but once I had the photos, I think more likely it is some Therevidae ? Can anyone help ? Thanks ! Edited by Arthropa on 10-03-2007 00:38 Benoit MARTHA |
