Hi, I have photographed this lovely caterpillar in a decidusous forest near Paris this week. Length about 25mm. I think it could belong to the family Geometridae. Correct? If so, can we go up to the genus? Thanks for your answers! FRV FRV attached the following image: [199.71Kb] |

Bonjour FRV, I've found a resembling one 2 weeks ago and I'm quite sure it's Pseudoips prasinana. Significant are the transverse yellow stripe behind the head, a red stripe on the anal proleg and distinctly big feet on the ventral prolegs..
