Hello,

This male of Ceratopogonidae is seen during a night propsection with a mercury vapor lamp. Do you think it could be Culicoides pulicaris as we suspect?

You should post your ID requests under the "Diptera (adults)" section, not here at 'Overviews'.
This might also increase the chance to get an ID

All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated.

My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated.
