It is very hard to tell. For some reason I cannot see the characteristic labral fan present in many species. But the colorpattern and the shape of the head does not match with species in which the labral fan is absent (Twinnia hydroides). The colorpattern of the body (darker stripes) and the headcapsule matches some species like Byssodon maculatum and Simulium erythrocephalum, although the latter is mainly found on aquatic weeds instead of stones.

Certainly this is a Simuliidae larvae but difficult to tell more (no fan or not enough visible ? and anal sclerit invisible)
I would ask a question to NaKaRB: are these organisms catched and photographied in their environnement or put in an aquarium ? As we can see air bowls on the second picture stones, I mean this water is not the river water...

This larvae was collected in the small river (probably with water plants). I found it at home and photographed in microaquarium.
