This genitalia was dissected from a Pollenia collected specimen (Spain: Girona: 25.viii.2012) in a liquid trap and it was in bad condition. It looked as Pollenia angustigena (Rugnes 1991b ) spite hasn't an outer posthumeral setae. I looked the rudis species group keys (Rugnes 1987b ) and tried to match it with P.luteovillosa, a similar species without outer ph. Hello Rafael, I've checked with Sivell, 2021, and Rognes, 1991: I think, rudis species-group is correct and it's Rognes' type I = angustigena or rudis. The difference between both is the central sclerotisation in hypophallus which is usually broader than clear surface in distal part in angustigena and narrower in rudis.
