May 2008, The Netherlands, Meppeler forrest.

On Fraxinus exelsior, near 'fluid cropping from tree'.

Perhaps better to call it D. obscura-group?

the bigger one is an Anisopodidae. Sylvicola sp. What a great second photo!!!
the former photo shows an acari attached in abdomen of the fly.

No way to tell which species from the pictures. You remain at group level.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
