Hi! Some of these male Haematopotas (10-12 mm) came to my UV lamp in the garden (northwest Germany) in mid July. They seem to me a little bit darker and greyer than the usual H. pluvialis. It looks peculiar. The antenna is very dark, it is not crassicornis, though. I hesitate since the pic seems strongly flashed. Therefore difficult to judge Theo |
