Hi,
these Tachina were observed on april 18th in the north of Yonne department (Burgondy, France). It is difficult for me to identify the species : lurida or ursina. I greatly appreciated your help. All my tanks.

Hello Jean-Michel, from what I see they are T. ursina:
- apicals of scutellum parallel
- dorsal hairs on thorax yellowish/whitish
- reddish patch on abdomen not prominent
...
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner

The male vertex seems very broad for ursina….
