I've found this fly today at a blackthorn thicket and I couldn't get as close as I wanted.
Frankenhoehe Nature Park, edge of old deciduous forest, 2024-06-13.
Am I right with Tachina lurida?

scutellar apicals strong and crossed:

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
