Thankful for ID help with this fly from an older beech forest in south Sweden. Body length 10 mm.

Someone in their infinite wisdom decided on a name change to Dryomyza anilis, TRY AND KEEP UP Ruud. Too many bumps on your head recently maybe Smile awkward

He is trying very hard, Roger! Copy that? He is just a bit amnesic. Maybe a few more beers to cure his amnesia would do the trick.
Maybe a nice substitute of Uwe? Do you remember? Or are we amnesic?


A better way to write would be Dryomyza (=Neuroctena) anilis.
Beware with the analis.
