Not Cylindromyia - looks like a Aphria - possibly longirostris (note to long proboscis just visible protruding forwards below the head)

Well, we have 4 species of Aphria, all of them with long rostrum. Given the broad vertex, I doubt whether this is longirostris. (which is NOT, as often supposed, the most common species). Theo |
