Oscinella maura (Fallén, 1820), Chloropidae, Oscinellinae. The white arista is a peculiar character of this very dark Oscinella which often has brownish wings. The colour of the tibiae is variable. The larvae develop mainly in Dactylis glomerata but also in species of some few other genera of Poaceae. The species name albiseta Meigen, 1830 is a junior synonym. |
