28 May 2008; near Uzuncaburc, Turkey. Dry spring bedding, lots of flowering herbs, pine forst nearby.Females of a range of Bombyliidae collect soil in a sand chamber in the abdomen. The photo shows this behaviour.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
