News for the Chironomidae Symposium in Trondheim
Dear all

We are happy to announce that the composition of the Scientific Committee now is ready. The committee will consist of the following chironomid researchers in addition to the conference organisers:

* Associate Prof. Susan Gresens, Towson University, USA
* Prof. Paraskeva Michailova, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria
* Dr. Les Ruse, Roehampton University, UK
* Prof. Ian Walker, University of British Columbia Okanagan, Canada
* Prof. Endre Willassen, University of Bergen, Norway

Hello, I'm looking for literature on chironomid larvae that are able to survive after being entrapped in ice for at least several days . So far I've only found literature on Eretmoptera murphy
