Captured: Northamptonshire, UK. Suburban garden.
Yellow pan trap with cider vinegar on soil deeply shaded by trees.
Trap set for 24 hoursa. Specimen recovered 2020 Oct 19 & stored for 3 months in 80% 2-propanol.
Length of body [excl. wings, legs, antennae but including terminalia] 1.94 mm.

Pan traps often capture numbers of minute flies which must be challenging to identify because so little appears to have been published of them, unless they happen to be tiny members of better-known families.
