Hello, My apologizes for this picture which is not good. After examination of the Diptera gallery, it appear possible that this specimen observed in august should be a Calliphoridae. Do you agree ? Hi Jean-Michel, it's not an easy task! The fly has lost it's golden hair and most of it's dusting but I guess it is a male Pollenia with a robust build and the eyes relatively widely separated - could be P. rudis. Greetings, Eric |
