Réf. : 350673 Hello, this male of Calliphoridae was not photographed from a very simple angle for determination, sorry. If the general appearance and what we see of the curvature of M1 are reminiscent of a simple Calliphora, the colors of the "beard" and the spiracle do not seem to correspond (we should see orange...). What do you think? Thank you for yours answers Luc |

Hello Luc, as far as I can see it could be a male Bellardia sp. or Onesia sp.

Indeed, it does - I just wasn't sure about the 0+3 ia-bristles.

Thank you for your answers. I have the impression that there are 1 + 2 ai, which I tried to render here by changing the contrast of the photo and marking the bristles that I imagine are concerned in red. Réf. : 350790 On the insect.org forum, a proposal was made "Bellardia viarum male 1. femur 2 without a preapical seta. (Calliphora a is present) 2. 1+2 ia (Onesia 0+3) 2. discal setae on t4 visible in photo 2." Edited by serenense7 on 29-10-2024 20:06 |

Third antennal segment seems simply too long for Onesia. I find it very difficult to assess the humber of IA, in any case prae IAmis unstablemin Onesia. Theo |

Thank you, we are making progress by formally eliminating Onesia. For the number of AI, is it more complicated than what I pointed out in red? Maybe on the number of AI before the suture? Does Bellardia viarum seem like a good hypothesis to you? |

Well, between your first two red dots, there seems / might show a broken off bristle, which would be the first post IA out of 3 ..... So, I havent ruled out anything Edited by Zeegers on 01-11-2024 09:20 |

I see, thank you! And are there other possible genus that would have a 1+3 AI formula? Edited by serenense7 on 02-11-2024 10:32 |
