Another metallic green fly, more hairy than 1st one. has plumose arista, Meron has row of bristles. Is this a calliphorid or tachinid ?

Both Tachinidae and. alliphoridae have meral bristles. Check for a swollen postscutellum ( —> Tachinidae). However, I think all metallic Oriental Tachindae have a bare arista. So it should be a Calliphorid... Theo |
