Is this Helophilus pendulus? How can I differenciate Helophilus pendulus from other similar Helophilus?

Yes, it is a male of pendulus!
It's face has a black stripe, so no trivittatus! The hind margin of tergite 3 and 4 are yellow, so no affinis. The hind margin fron tergite 2 is black above the small yellow band, so no hybridus.
That leaves us with Helophilus pendulus! Grin

Also, the 3rd femur is partially yellow and 3rd tibia abour half pale which excludes affinis and hybridus.
