 Hello,

I photographed this larva in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on June 4th 2019 on Galium aparine. I think it is a Syrphidae, but is it possible to identify the genus or species from these photos?

 Hi Emanuele, this is probably Eupeodes cf. luniger. To be sure we'd need to see the posterior breathing tubes.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
