May I ask for help in identifying this species, please? The picture was taken in northwest Poland, in August 2020

The green ones are Lucilia and the one in the foreground has 3 ac and a white basicosta = probably the very common L. sericata. And I have one suggestion for your forum threads: You may edit the subject (title) of your thread, if you received an answer. This is very useful, if the id is not 100%, and may inspire the experts for the family to improve the id. For example you may change "Calliphoridae ID" to "Lucilia sericata? <= Calliphoridae ID". It is even useful if the id is correct as it improves the forum search. Greetings, Eric |
