Dear forum members,

I take the opportunity to say how pleased I am to participate in this great forum!

This is a hoverfly which I am not sure about and would highly appreciate your assistance with identifying it. My initial feeling is this is Eupeodes sp.

It is documented in NW Bulgaria, my garden, on 23 April 2020 feeding on Veronica persica.

Thank you for the ID suggestion, I was keen to say corollae because lunules reach the lateral margins of the tergites unlike Eupeodes luniger. It is unfortunate I did not manage to take more pictures!
