(or 5 segments, I am not sure if the scape counts)
.

I thought, I photographed B. johannis, as I have learned here recently, but I counted flagellar segments a there are not enough for johannis (according to Steven Falk's website).

Slovakia, 1 May 2020, Banska Bystrica, meadow.

Thank you in advance
Matej

It was 400 m.a.s.l., near the city. However, Banska Bystrica is in the middle of the Carpathians. From this direction, 800 m hill is not far.

Yes, and if you are asking because of the date, Slovakia is quite continental, near my city, even Bibio marci apeard just some week ago.

Antennal segments are very difficult to count from picture, the apical one tends to be very small. So I am not sure.
Male nigriventris has milky wing, which does not fit.

Thank you very much. You think of Bibio johannis then?
